I bought it as part of a larger project for the teachers at our school to use if they chose. The two second grade teachers involved in the project felt that it was too easy for their students and that the tales were so familiar as to be boring.. School Marm said I have loved this book for many years. I have loved this book for many years. I just recently bought this one to replace my old one. Children find these stories so engaging, and want to read them over and over. Great for improving fluency and comprehension.
