Cheng Man Ching form and Tai Chi Classics condensed into one manual. Amazon Customer This book had been out for over 10 years under different names ("Teach Yourself Tai Chi"). I would call this one of the best books for beginners, intermediate and advance students of Tai Chi Chuan. It explains all of the essentials in a simple, easy to read manual. While it is important to have a live instructor to master the internal aspects, this book makes an excellent reference manual. The form that is illustrated is the 37 move Cheng Man Ching form. The drawn pictures were originally photographs and descriptions are very easy to understand. Robert Parry basically distills all of Cheng. Melissa Finley said Excellent teaching tool!. Very helpful; this will help me teach myself Tai Chi.I look forward to my journey with this book.Simple, easy to understand illustrations and explanations. I would recommend this book to a beginner, for sure. I took a class that was very confusing; the instructor went through the entire set each and every time! I was unable to even remember the entire first step with that method; this is far easier to pace myself with, mastering one bit at a time.. Alex Polyakov said Five Stars. No review is placed
