Not really for beginners Brooksie I bought these books because they are used in SmartMusic (another cool product!). They are entitled Easy, but the book has a two octave range and uses dotted rhythms and triplets. This is better for students who have played a year or longer. Younger students can play the rhythms because they . Christmas music for a young flute player I bought this book for my granddaughter who has been playing flute for about a year. Much of the music here is sightreadable, and the family enjoyed a mini Christmas concert after all the gifts were opened. There is an accompaniment CD, but it's difficult for a beginner to stay with a recorde. Michelle L. Salgado said Fun! Fun! Fun!.
