Fantozzi said Live the life of Viking whilst reading the book. This is it, it is very illustrous book with a lot of detais, facts, names, relations and so on. Highly recommended to anyone who likes Scandinavia, Norway, Sweden, Vikings and middle ages.. Great Narrative john gjaltema For the history buff looking for accurate dates this is probably not for you. The author admits throughout the book the exact dates and in some cases the exact place is conjecture. Dates and places are still a reasonable time line though. The stories are very grippingly told, and you still learn a lot about the Norse. I found it worth reading.. Good read for an amateur genealogist Bonnie If you have ancient ties to or merely an interest in early Norway, you will find this book interesting and informative.
Special Large Print edition, with easy to read text, of Thomas Carlyle's classic work.
