Great manga! kremlin-dawn My dumb self preordered this before it had "manga" in the title, before it was listed as graphic novel format, etc. because I thought it was the translation of the first novel! D'oh! But it's still a great manga. It has a matte cover with shiny lettering, which is much nicer than your basic manga cover (although more prone t. "Durarara!! has yet to let me down." according to Peyton. I've been buying the manga since I got into the anime, which was about a month after the first volume was released. And I have never been disappointed with it.This volume, the Saika arc, includes some of my favorite scenes and situations. The reporter searching for the strongest in Ikebukuro, Shizuo Heiwajima's past, and, ho. It's Durrrrr. Yeah. Yup. It's Durarara!! At least the manga doesn't drag on as long as the anime. And the art is getting better little by little.
