An outstanding book! Dr. Kay Keys If you're interested in Virginia Woolf, this is an excellent book. The author knows and makes good use of source materials and also knows and makes good use of Woolf scholarship to date. The book is both scholarly and a pleasure to read (all of it, including the notes!) And it's a good update from Quentin Bell's Virginia Woolf biography and Nigel Nicholson's Portrait of a Marriage
