M.R. said Entertaining read for young kids.. I purchased David Goes to School, as it was on my soon-to-be first grader's summer reading list. It was cute. I would say it should have been on the Kindergarten reading list, as it was a much easier read for my daughter than the books she was assigned prior to entering Kindergarten. But that being said, I have one of those very expressive children and she got a kick out of reading it with all the enthusiasm in the world s.
