Peace like a river. Amazon Customer I never went to sleep without reading the Daily Devotion. It's been a rough year. I lost a much younger brother, my husband had major surgery which resulted in congestive heart failure and a huge hernia that can't be repaired; later he developed atrial fibrillation and COPD. The devotions helped me to put things in perspective and remember that God will not burden us with more than we can bear and will always be at our. Daugther loves it This is the fourth year my 11 year old daughter and I have been reading these devotionals daily. We really enjoy them and especially feeling like we 'know' the writers. Some of the writers we can guess who it is by how and what they write. We read their personal data provided each year and enjoy feeling like we know a little about the writer.
