Great book for experienced developers Helios This is a great Java book for experienced developers who wish to learn Java, or for Java developers looking to catch up on Java since 1.5SE. This book covers Java 8 without going into the history of how things used to work in older versions. It also does not waste time explaining in tedious detail how a for loop works or anything like that. This book just covers standard edition features, no enterprise stuff.If you're new to software development this is not the book fo. I'm readly to get going on this reading and exercises. This book is on my 'to-do-list' this coming month. I got one of my computers all set-up with the required software and downloads. It seems to be well written and organized. I'm looking forward to this project.
