"Well written series" according to Rhonda. I enjoyed the series. I received the first book and couldn't wait to order the whole set. It is a bit of detail of physical and emotional abuse but the story is written well. The author also makes sure that the reader is aware of what kind of story line you will be reading, you are told about the abuse before reading in the beginning of the book. I think that is the most awesome feature because for those who may have been abused you are aware and can make a personal decision to continue reading without causing emotional triggers. I enjoyed the series and I am almost done with the 5th book. I will continue my review and be more in detai. Don't hesitate, buy it nowabsolutely amazing! I have been consumed by this series. It was written so well. All of the story lines just weaved together so perfectly. When I was finished and read the epilogue my mind was seriously blown. This book led you to so many answers I just didn't see coming, Aleatha is just one of the best authors. This book and every single one I've read so far are just so thorough. I can't get enough of her stories. Without question, yes I will refer this series to anyone who will listen!!
