Gaaaaahhh. twelvejan *Review first published on Goodreads!*Gavin is a stalker. And he owns Club Prive. And the book ended at that. Oh but since it's an erotica there were some 'ehhhh' hot moments. Stated in the blurb that it's the hottest erotic romance series of the year. I wonder if the remaining books in the series could live up to that cos book 1 didn't. Writing wasn't too bad though.I hated how they're breaking up a book into short stories with a continuous storyline. 2.99 for each book in a 5-book series?! Given that the first book is free, 2.99 x 4 = $12?!. A. Pollard said Wannabe. This book assumes it's readers are morons. The main character works at a NYC law firm (oh, the grueling 8+ hour days). She is bring pursued by the now-formulaic wealthy, zero fat hero who has a somewhat kinky side. Yawn. Are you asleep yet? There were so many unnecessary descriptors in the book that I often ended up laughing at its absurdness. Do yourself a favor and skip this pathetic attempt at erotica.. Why can't readers be warned before picking things up that it's a total cliffhanger and to find out what happens next you MUST buy the following 2nd,3rd and,4th books? The story line is seriously twisted, the girl makes NO sense what so ever, being SO busy with work and school, self-conscious all the time, but she's just going to jump in bed with some guy because he's hot and knows the owner of this club with a private sex room upstairs?
