An almost complete coverage of current classical KID theory Amongst the "Everymanchess" published books which I own,this is by far the best opening book.The authors give current theory and explain some critical turning points like "when did this variation became popular?" or "why is that not very popular now?"It is quite different from that "starting out" series which I never liked much.The material is more notational than verbal explanations but there are some verbal explanations too.If you consider buying a KID book for playing with white I think this should be your first choice,and if you consider buying a book for black you should buy it too..
