excellent one volume text Tex Andrews probably must have for the libraries of anyone interested in the subject. "This splendid catalog serves as the most current and magnificently illustrated introduction to Islamic ceramic now available. Essential."

. Oliver Watson, an expert on Islamic pottery, has written extensively on the subject. Formerly Chief Curator of the Department of Ceramics and Glass at the Victoria and Albert Museum, he is currently Chief Curator at the Museum of Islamic Art in Qatar
