GForce five said i read the book and passed the test. this book is a real help in taking the state contractors licence test in the law portion. i read the book studied the test questions at the end of the book and took the test a couple days later and passed it on the first try. if i hadn't read the book i wouldn't have passed the test.. gZaller said Not what you need to pass. I purchased this book for the CA contractors exam and was frustrated with the unnecessary level of detail on some things yet lacking in others, like the lien laws. I then subscribed to CSLS online exams which again were filled with arcane information in the form of test questions with no explanations and too many mistakes -very frustrating. Their website was always incredibly slow.I passed the exam easily in flying colors relying really on my experience and. Great book This is great book which is packed with information pertaining to the test required to become a licesned contarctor in the state of California. I am confident to say that I believe that I will pass my exam which I will be taking in the next few days. I wish luck to anyone pursuing the same path as me. Great book, recommended.
