DESCRIPTION:
"Excellent Thriller!" according to Bruce Sebring. In the 1960's NASA flew ten very successful Gemini missions from Complex 17 at Cape Kennedy. The US Air Force wanted a space program of their own and developed Dyna-Soar, MOL, and Blue Gemini. While the NASA flights were flown in full public view, the Top Secret military space program wasn't. This book is very well written, and the technical parts are dead on.This book not only follows an Air Force blue suit astronaut as he trains to fly their Top Secret missions, but al. "Top notch writing, great hard-science plot" according to Mel Beckman. The writer clearly did his period research on this novel. Most all historical and cultural details are spot-on accurate. The prose is engaging as well, and the key characters very well developed. I can't wait to start the next book in the series.
