I'm not angry about that though, I did choose to read a mech book after all. It's the "O2" rifle that killed me. Afterall, young man unjustly imprissoned, finds alien artifact (although technically speaking the human is the alien on the planet in question), and uses it to fight the bad guys is not exactly new. I am a bit worried about the references of Chosen Ones, and long term manipulations by aliens, but that is more because I have never been a big fan of prophesized heroes and conflicts and cunning long term manipulations that rely on too many things happenings.
