T. Allison said I haven't read one of these in some time, and Amazon was quick to deliver.. This book is much better than I expected. There isn't a dull or boring chapter to be found. The book is quite well researched and has some of the most interesting footnotes I've ever seen. I had no idea the city had been through so much and I thought I had a working historical knowledge of the city. I would recommend this book to anyone that has an interest in NYC and how it got the way it is. It is quite well written!. "Spies, Saboteurs, and Terrorists in the Big Apple" according to A. A. Nofi. Tommy said Heavy Reading on a Heavy Subject. A well researched book, that gives great insight into its subject. The subject is very appropriate as I'm in NYC. The book examines previous threats and how and why we are approaching London in the number of surveilance cameras that exist in this city. The case is made for why counter-terrorism is so important.
