"Five Stars" according to Amazon Customer. Exceptional. Exceptional! This book should be read by everyone, we don't know what life has in store for us and Vanessa Luther wrote this story of her father's journey through Alzheimer's with such insight that it is nothing more then a testimony of love and caring during this devastating time in their lives. I have known three people that passed from this disease and also witnessed it in a convalescent hospital where I worked. Vanessa Luther writes exceptionally about her struggle with all of the many factors she had to deal with, not to mention caring for her mother and sons during this time. Thank you for sharing this story, I fell in love with your father,. "Nice story but not helpful information." according to Pamelaaos. This was a good book in that the author tells in detail about her struggle with her dad with alzheimers, but there was (for me) too much detail about her family life that got a bit repetitive. I was looking for more helpful information in dealing with the disease itself. The book Alzheimer 's Daughter by Jean Lee was much more helpful. It was a nice family story but not what I was hoping for.
