Thanks, Joe J. Chambers Thanks to Joe Moser for writing about this little-known story of WWII. I've read a lot of books about the European theater in the war, including several books written by aviators, but I had never heard of the allied pilots being put in Buchenwald, a work/death camp, instead of a Luftwaffe POW camp. Even knowing that Mr. Moser survived a scheduled execution did not reduce . Five Stars L.E. P. Wonderful book about a guy who lived in my area.. Barry Honcoop said A Real Hero.
